This is the Japanese practice of immersing yourself in the forest/ woodlands to enhance mental and physical wellbeing through mindful sensory engagement.
Using breathing, grounding into the body and earth, mindfulness and journalling practices and simple guided meditations. Doing this with the support of nature is a perfect and proven combination to connect to yourself and your surrounds and to support your mental health.
People learn tools to take with them.
Outcomes are usually reduced stress, improved focus and perspective and enhanced resilience.
